Why do we need coaching?
It’s not difficult to find information that will help us understand how to be better at our job, how to reduce stress, what to eat to lose weight and get more energy, or how to be a more influential leader.
What’s often missing is guidance on how to use the information we’ve found, and unbiased support to help us succeed and to hold us accountable (in a way that works for each of us uniquely,) so we can meet our goals.
That’s the benefit of working with a coach.
As a professional coach, I’ve invested significant time in learning methodologies that help you go deeper into understanding the root cause of your challenges across health, relationships, and personal happiness. I’m equipped to support your discovery and growth leveraging all the wonderful information available in the world.
What’s included in each engagement?
Initial intake discussion to learn what you’ve tried, what’s working, what hasn’t worked. Any specific concerns and areas of focus.
Goal setting for our time together - I always follow your lead.
We usually meet every other week over Zoom. If you’re working on something time-sensitive, we can meet weekly.
I’ll provide resources, articles, recommended tools, and activities intended to surface fresh perspectives and actions towards your goal.
As we identify goals and helpful actions to take towards your goals, I will provide support and help with accountability following your preference.
More about coaching
Coaches compliment work their clients do alongside a care team that may include:
Therapists (who help uncover the source of trauma)
Physicians (who treat symptoms and sometimes root-causes)
Nutritionists (who inform nutrient gaps)
Trainers (who provide targeted exercise guidance)
This can take the form of helping internalize and act on recommendations from physicians, or make forward momentum from therapy work where trauma has been unblocked to make room for life changes.
